She woke from the coma only to once again entered the operating room to remove a liver tumor. In 2007 the tumor was found to be growing again so she had a cholecystectomy once again.
Lydia has certaintly enjoyed an excellent career that spanned over forty years. She was affectionately known to peers and fans as Fei-fei (??). She appeared in numerous Hong Kong films and was an iconic entertainer on TVB. However, her poor health seemed to have diminished an otherwise illuminated showbiz career. In order to understand the fate of Lydia Sum, let us take a look at her bazi with respect to the day of her demise.
Lydia’s birth date can be converted to the following pillars:
? Xin (metal) Ding(fire) Ding(fire)
? Chou (earth) Wei(earth) Hai(water)
Current luck pillar:
Gui (water)
Chou(earth)
According to the analysis of our in house fengshui practitioner,in the study of Ba Zi, lungs is classified as metal.
Unless Lydia’ s hour pillar is strong in metal, she will be classified as a weak xin metal chart due to the abundance of fire in her chart. When fire is strong, metal will be in a precarious situation. When a chart is weak in metal, the person concerned should take good care of their lungs, nose and respiratory system. Chou and Wei are next to each other and clash each other most of the time. In fact, her month pillar is in Fan Yin (most serious form of clash)with her day pillar. With such a configuration in her chart, naturally it also means health is always an issue for her.
The 4 pillars of her time of death are:
Wu (earth) Ji(earth) Jia(wood) Wu(earth)
Chen(earth) Chou(Earth) Yin(wood) Zi(water)
For a Ba Zi beginner, they may think that this date is favorable to her as earth is in abundance. However, that is not to be the case. In classical Ba Zi literature, there is a saying, “abundant earth buries the metal”. Add that to the fact that the day of death is in the season of spring where wood energy is most vibrant, it is to be expected, metal will be severely under attack as wood also counters metal.
