Lydia Sum had several chronic ailments  such as cholangitis, diabetes, and hypertension throughout her life. It was reported that  in 2002, she was admitted to a hospital and had 36 gallstones extracted. In September 2006, lydia was diagnosed with a liver tumor and cancer around the gallbladder.

She also had a history of bile duct inflammation as early as 1978. On September 22, 2006 the bile duct inflammation had recurred, and 4 days later, the inflammation had complicated the liver and her coma began. She woke from the coma only to once again entered the operating room to remove a liver tumor. In 2007 the tumor was found to be growing again so she had a cholecystectomy once again.

Lydia has certaintly enjoyed an excellent career that spanned over forty years. She was affectionately known to peers and fans as Fei-fei (??).  She appeared in numerous Hong Kong films and was an iconic entertainer on TVB. However, her poor health seemed to have diminished an otherwise illuminated showbiz career. The scandal, now known as the “Edison Chen Incident,” has been a real hit among newspaper, blogs and magazines. How did the photos came about?Hong Kong police investigating the case tracked the source of the photos to a computer service center where Chen had taken his laptop for repairs.

Eight employees of the service center in connection with the photo have been arrested by the police. It has been announced that over 1,300 racy photos of celebrities had been stolen!!! The hunger for celebrity news is surely ravenous and invasive but since this is Fengshui Forward Blog, we will have to discuss the scandal based on our metaphysical views.

Edison Chen’ s birthdate falls on 7 October 1980. His bazi is as followed :

The first thing that comes to my mind after looking at his chart is the number of combinations happening in the chart.  You, his month earthly branch, is involved in combination with Shen & Chou. Chou and Shen are also in combination with Zi.  In fact, his own self element represented in the chart, Gui, is also involved in combination with the Wu in the luck pillar and his year and month heavenly stem is also in combination.  That makes a total of 7 combinations!  7 combinations within a chart is unusually high by any standard of reading Ba Zi.  In a chart with numerous combinations, we can usually surmise that he is either a networking guru or a multiple-relationships man.  Small wonder then, that he had been involved with so many ladies.
