I will try my hand at predicting the outcome to this news

Steve Jobs is the subject and in the same palace resides Kai Men 开门 Open Gate and Tian Zhu 天柱 Heaven Pillar which signifies he is undergoing operation. Inside this palace there are signs also of affliction with cancer.

Sickness star is strong. Another star indicates it is an ailment related to one of the eating organ. Is pancreas related to this? Unfortunately where Chinese Medicine is concerned, pancreas is an alien concept and it is something more common in the arena of Western Medicine.

Subject is also housed with Sheng Men 生门 (Prosperous Gate), Tian Peng 天蓬·（Heaven Vigor) and Liu He 六合 (Six Combinations). He is operated by a team of surgeons, still in relatively strong position although there is also signs that his life may be seized away. It is also being clashed by Death Gate 死门, further signs of doom beckoning. Subject is in strong position so likelihood he is still not dying as yet.

Currently, the time is still in the Yang Dun阳遁, while the Sickness Star and Gui stem is in Yin Dun阴遁. Hence, there is a likelihood that his death will not be a swift one. The only inconsistent signal to these arguments is that Yi stem is also in the Yang Dun. I hope the date of birth obtained from the internet is accurate, otherwise it may throw a spanner in the works of this prediction.

http://fengshuiforward.com/396/apple-rises-to-become-no-1-tech-firm/

The doctor star is in strong position in the chart. Hence, this is another indication that Steve Jobs may not go in a short time.
I believe Steve Jobs is likely to pass away in the sixth month (7th July – 8th august 2011) of the Chinese Calendar.

Disclaimer : – This prediction is done solely for the purpose of the practice of the Chinese Divination method and any reliance upon this prediction by readers is at their own risk without any form of recourse whatsoever to Fengshuiforward Forum, Fengshuiforward Blog and Ken. Incomplete information, which includes lack of a credible source providing the birth information of Steve Jobs, may render the prediction imprecise.

Few days ago I was buzzed by my friend on MSN Messenger. She was very troubled because a split with her long term seemed on the cards because of a spat. In fact before this row transpired, she had complained to me previously about the difference in style of management making the partnership very arduous. She then requested for me to do a divination of whether the split is a boon or bane.

I obtain the following I-ching 易经 Oracle:

 　火地晋　　　水山蹇　　火雷噬嗑　　　水天需　　地火明夷

     Advance Trapped Larynx Congestion
▆▆▆▆▆　　　▆▆　▆▆　　　▆▆▆▆▆　　　▆▆　▆▆　　　▆▆　▆▆

Originating Hexagram Process Hex Resultant Hex
[本卦]　　　[互卦]　　[变卦]　　　[错卦]　　　[综卦]

Excerpt of our conversation is as follows:

Friend says:

Good or bad for this split. i m lost now

We have different perspective

Ken says:

Actually the divination looks favorable to me

Although the start and process is uncomfortable

Friend says:

This means?

Means split is good?

Ken says:

Yes

Friend says:

I knew it should be good.

But i find very tough process…

12yrs business ; 28 yrs friendship.

Ken says:

The first gua name is 晋

This means you are advancing actually

Friend says:

What does it mean?

Ken says:

It means the step is advancement for you

The end gua says 噬嗑

This means you will feel like something stuck in your throat

Friend says:

Advancing mean i am moving forward..is that what you meant?

Ken says:

Yes

This also means you got to be patient and bear with it

Friend says:

What does it mean to be patient.. does it mean don’t split??

Ken says:

No

Friend says:

Ken; you know what?

Ken says:

I mean patient as in the process of splitting you got to be patient as it will even be more unbearable

You must also summon the resolve to remove the choke in your throat

Friend says:

I’m not sure..that subconciously that i always wanted to leave..this partnership..but somehow it became more powerful that it takes off…eventually

Friend says:

I begin to see things i don’t like…; and i felt i have prejudice..

And for all this reason..I felt that i always trying to find a reason to split it

But if i don’t split this …is very unbearable..because he is not focus with business

Ken says:

I do hope i am giving the correct advice for good karma

Friend says:

Yes; you are; actually i knew the answer; but i need affirmation and have been dragging over

I know i want a partner who has the same perspective with me

Last time he was..few years ago..he changed.

I felt exhausted

Next yr…i have HO/DO 伤官/正官..

In Ziwei紫薇 ..is Wen Chang Hua Ji 文昌化忌?

Ken says:

And i remember your Wen Chang 文昌in quite strategic position of your Zi Wei Dou Shu 紫微斗数 chart

Friend says:

My partner in Ding Hai 丁亥Day master. snake year

Friend says:

Anyway is ok..since we have decided.

He banged the table and just walk out

Ken says:

To me benefit you more from the split

Friend says:

Ken..why you said that?

Ken says:

I just see your respective position in the Qi Men Dun Jia 奇门遁甲 chart

Ken says:

Calm down

Life will always have ups and downs

As a user and researcher in Chinese Metaphysics, nothing excites me more than to get feedbacks from people that the reading I have done for them accurately describes the events that happened to them so far. By the way, all recount of event predictions and even testimonials in this blog are genuine. My pride would not have allow me to cook up stories.

Last week I met up with a friend to teach him some basics in Yijing 易经. When we came to the Yijing methodology of erecting the Hexagram through observations of movements, this friend ask me to demonstrate on the spot how I would erect the Hexagram for a question of “How long do I need to sell my flat?” Thinking it was just a what-if question which does not means he is selling his flat, I demonstrated to him how I would erect the Hexagram based on observation of his actions.

I showed him how I obtain the Hexagram - 风山渐 Wind Mountain “Slow” and explain to him one of the fastest conclusion we can get is that the outcome will be lengthy for which the name of the Hexagram being “Slow” lends suggestion to. Before I can proceed, my friend was exclaiming in excitement that I am correct that he had taken long so far (more than 8 months) to sell his flat without any sale concluded.

It was then that I realized his question is not merely a theoretical example but a real situation he is in right now. It was a pleasant surprise to have divine correctly the situation with just a cursory interpretation of the Hexagram.

Yijing is very simple to use and fast to employ! It will be beneficial for people to arm themselves with this tool for better day-to-day decision making.

With the global economic malaise, the most common questions readers ask me nowadays are related to career, job and employment. Employed ones will ask if they will be retrench by their company in the near future. Unemployed ones will ask what is their chances of finding a job. Retrenched ones will ask if they should go for a career switch or even venture into business.

Few weeks ago, a friend who just graduated from university asked for my help to assess his chances of getting a job in this quiet market as well as improving his chances of getting a job fast. I used the time of him posing the request to me to erect a Yijing divination chart. The series of hexagram images for this chart is depicted in the enclosed picture.

Having seen the hexagram 天地否 “reject”, I am of the opinion he had rejected a job offer not long ago and because the pay was an issue to him. Further analysis of the hexagram images tell me he should need to take some time (due to the 风山渐 “delay” hexagram) and observe (inline with the 风地观 “observe” hexagram).

Looking at the overall composition of the charts, I told him it is not likely he will secure within 2 weeks. 3 weeks is most likely the timeframe within which he can land a better paying job. To aid his chances further, I advised him on some things to place in his room as part of our holistic approach of improving his chances.

On 9 June 2009 this week, I receive a call from this friend. His voice punctuated with ectastic overtones, told me euphorically that he landed a job with a pay higher than what he asked for. I checked back to my diary on the date he had asked me for help. It was on 19 May 2009, exactly 3 weeks from the day he asked for my advice!

There are actually many more other signals that can be interpreted from this Yijing divination chart. However, I did not list all of them down here as readers needs to be trained in Yijing before they will understand what I mean.

*Blink*,*blink*, the Windows Messenger window pops up in my computer monitor. It was a message from a friend complaining about being disturbed from his sleep by loud noises. When I enquired as to what was disturbing his sleep, my friend asked me to hazard a guess, since he was aware I was dabbling in Feng Shui and Chinese Astrology.

I set out this task in earnest, to interpret based on the signals that nature has sent to us. Very logically, I came up with the following Yi Jing Gua Images

To the layman the above diagrams may not give them the slightest clue but to the practitioner of YiJing, these diagrams carry a lot of meaning. This could be construction of something metallic in nature, hollow and it should be in the west to where my friend is seated or standing at point of him posing the question.

The work started from the bottom and the process creates a hollow earth structure and eventually it is sealed on the top. This is likely to be something that is moving in nature but hollow in the center.

A few logical deductions came to my mind :- vehicle, lift, aeroplane. “Are they doing something to the lift?”, I asked my friend. This is the most logical answer because it involves creating a hollow earth structure which is eventually sealed up at the top.

“Bingo, they are doing upgrading to our flats which involves building new lift which stops at every level” was the answer that came.

Now, the answers hollow, west, metal, earth are all actually reflected all over the trigram image above and do not require great figment of imagination to be able to read it. We will find Yi Jing divination very useful and I certainly encourage everyone to learn it!

In the last post on Yi Jing , we share with you the origin of Yi Jing. Yi Jing views all of the changes that we and our environment go through as a series of unfolding  immutable laws and principles of existence.

By explaining our present situation in terms of the natural laws that have given rise to it, we can decide and take immediate course of action and see what the future holds of for us. Today, we shall share with you some basic principles of this chinese art.

Yijing forms the basic of all metaphysics studies and is derived from both the Hetu and Luoshu. Â The placements (N,S,SE etc) are similar to the Later Heaven Ba Gua but the numbers representing each are based on the early Heaven Ba Gua. Â

We can use Yijing knowledge to do divination, Fengshui, destiny analysis and even health improvement. Â For a start, we need to be familiar with what each gua represents. Â The summarised table of what each gua in Yijing represents is as below:

The I Ching isnot only the oldest known classic Chinese text but also the most popular philosphical book of all time. The I Ching focuses on the idea of the dynamic balance of opposites ( yin yang principle ), seeing the evolution of events as a process, and an acceptance of the inevitability of change.

The book is believed to have been written around 5,000 years ago and part of the content has been credited to the legendary Fu Hisa. To the modern world, I Ching is often regarded as a system of divination while there are others who believe that it sets out a general guide to Chinese philosphy and wisdom.

To be precise, “ching” means book. “I” translates as change, or changelessness. The symbols are written using characters derived from the ancient Chinese symbols for the moon and the sun. They represent the change from day to night and polarity. The change from day to night can be seen as an interchangeable state which is in constant equilibrium.

The Book of Changes views all of the changes that we and our environment go through as a series of unfolding immutable laws and principles of existence. By explaining our present situation in terms of the natural laws that have given rise to it, we can decide and take immediate course of action and see what the future holds of for us.

The I Ching views the universe as a natural and well-coordinated system in which the process of change never ceases. It presents human nature and destiny as based on principle and order. Through the study of I Ching, one is able to recognise human activities and situations within a much larger context of harmonious interactions between cosmos, man and nature. With this set of knowledge, it enables us to cope with the changes that we will confront in our daily lives.

Splashed across the newspapers and media of Singapore and other countires are news headlines announcing the escape from police detention of Mas Selamat Kestari, a leader of the terrorist group, Jemaah Islamiah. This gave me the inspiration to try to see if the YiJing (I-Ching also known as Book of Changes) would be able to shed some light on it.

To do YiJing Divination, we have to convert information to Gua (or Trigram) symbols. For the starting point, I have used the time and date as the upper and lower trigram. ie 26022008, 1605
Take the sum of each, divide by 8 and get the remainder of, we have 4 for each, which is represented by Zhen Gua, ie the trigrams looks like

Event Trigram
Zhen
Zhen

Process Trigram
Kan
Gen

Outcome Trigram
Zhen
Dui

I didn’t want to confuse you guys who don’t know how YiJing divination works with all the steps I take to convert the trigrams. But all the Trigram narrations can be found in most YiJing books. Interpretation differs from person to person though. we will look at the image of the each trigrams first.

Event Trigram is Zhen over Zhen. Zhen in the YiJing represents thunder, shock and male. As we all know, the event that happened, involved a male and shock the whole world. This being an all Yang trigram is beneficial to the male. It is thus not surprising that he has thus far remain at large.

But we need to examine further the process and outcome trigram to get a better feel of his fate in this escapade.

Process Trigram is Kan over Gen. Kan represents middle seniority male (fittingly for Mas Selamat) and water. Gen represents hand and mountain. In Chinese, toilet means Room for Washing (Kan water is appropriate) Hand (Gen is apppropriate). Fittingly, this Trigram throws up an image of toilet and male for which we all know he pull off his escapade during the trip to the toilet! Flipping open the YiJing book I have, stunningly, it cites an image of a limping man involved in a very difficult task. Hmm, didn’t Mas walks with a limp? Didn’t we all know that it is very challenging for him to make such an escape right under the noses of the Singapore Police? It is said that the directions that are auspcious for this man is in the south west. If Mas haven’t been caught yet, does it mean he did take the south west direction to escape? Should we inform the police to turn their attention to the southwest? Maybe he intended to escape to Batam via ferries at Harbour Front? Or did he hide at one of the outlying islands near Sentosa, waiting for his accomplice sampan to come pick him up?

Interestingly southwest in Yijing also represents women. Didn’t we know the escape also came about because his family member (most likely to include his wife) are visiting him? Or could he have a female accomplice or mole in the police station?

I am sure most readers will be interested to read the interpretation of the Outcome Trigram at this juncture. Unfortunatley, my brain is tired after a full day’s activity. Stay tuned for the next episode of the YiJing Divination of the Great Escape of Mas Selamat
