I need some help in getting my birth data analyzed:

Name: Jennifer
DOB: Sep 14, 1982
Time: 12.15 pm (local time, GMT +7)
Place: Pematangsiantar - Sumatera Utara (Indonesia)
Current location: Ottawa, Canada

Recently, someone that I love decided to move on with another lady. I promise myself not to contact him anymore and try to focus on study. Two days ago, he e-mailed to say he didn't like to lose contact with me, want to know how my life is. I was happy to hear from him at first, but then I blamed myself for having this little hope....that he still cares about me. But he shouldn't if he loves that lady.

Anyhow, I just would like to find out if there's any potential for a lasting relationship. The last thing is about study/career. I'm currently doing my master's in Canada. I have spent so many years at school, and I really hope I find the research area that suits me at the end. I really don't know if I can use my skills to work in industry, or if I should stick to the academia. Being able to work anywhere would be nice. Canada is a great place to live, but I'm so far away from family and the winter is very tough.

Hi Ken,

Thank you very much for your reply. You are right that I should not think about relationship at this moment. There are several things that needs to be done for this week, and my mind was wondering around. Not very productive.

I felt I really lost him after four years of relationship full of hope and uncertainty. Nevertheless, those are good memories regardless of what is happening now. I really have to think more about study so that the more busy I get, I will feel better, and also get better result for my courses. In the long run, there will be no more delay and family can stop worrying about me.

I guess there are no other ways to make myself feel better and I should stop looking  .

Glad you see the point.  A lot of times things can improve remarkably by just prioritizing correctly the choices we had in life.  I know it is hard for a gals like you to turn down romance but this time less is more.

Thanks again, Ken. Your words and the advice from the other forum have helped a lot during this difficult period. I cannot deny there are still ups and downs, but I'll always keep in mind what you wrote before. It is very simple, but profound, just not as easy to implement as I thought . Still have a long way to go....

A while ago, out of curiosity and also to understand more about my potentials, I plotted stars for the ZWDS (using the local birth time). I don't know which one I should focus on - the natal chart or the 10-year chart? For reference, here is the online result that matched:

I noticed for this year and my 10-year chart, my life palace falls on the marriage palace. Ju Men and Qing Yang were found here. From how I can relate to my current situation, I seem to have more problem in communications this year. Sometimes I feel like a fool, intimidated/uncomfortable for some reason, but only towards certain people. I guess Ju Men brings this effect?

Travel falls on the career palace. Tian Ji is true for I'm far away from home. I'm a little bit concerned about Hua Ji and Qing Yang in the travel palace. As for spouse palace, I completely have no idea, but most important is study now. .

Like what Xun mentioned, you are a strong character and likes to speak your mind. You have strong pride and opinion that might hurt others without you realising.

Your outspoken personality and dynamism could be the very reason they are attracted to you, but also the reason they leave you. So, you do need to check yourself. Although you like to express and be heard, just be more sensitive to people whom you care around you. You might say the wrong thing unknowingly.

You are still young, just focus on your study first.

Thank you for taking time to do the analysis.  I think I passed  by Sibolga on my way from Siantar to Medan many years ago (~ 12 years ago perhaps?, really missed everything back home). Nice to know there's someone from the same province/country here .

Your analysis is right when it revealed that I can be stubborn. I do have a quick temper, but perhaps it only shows when I'm around people I know very well - like close friends, some family members. As I mature, I find myself quite often have the tendency to hide my feelings about them. I wish I could just be more straightforward and say if I don't like something. At other times, it's also due to the respect I have for them, and not wanting to lose a good relationship.

When I feel lonely and sad, I always like to be heard and maybe that makes me very expressive. I guess certain things I should have kept to myself only and solved them myself, maybe I'm not a strong person. In reality, I'm a very nervous person and hesitant. These two things are generally what I consider to be the biggest challenge in study and might affect work in the future. I usually don't have good communication with professors and new classmates (just not have that close relationship like what a supervisor and his student should have).

Thanks for pointing out that my current luck pillar supports study, I'll try harder to concentrate and overcome the communication barrier. I should appreciate what has been given, and not waste it. As for love, I really would love to have a commitment. I'm responsible for driving my first and only ex-bf away because I have asked too many times if he had plan to commit or just to come visit me again. Actually, I didn't expect him to be able to give it right away, but at least I would like to hear that the relationship was going somewhere.

I cannot do anything about relationship at this moment, and I should put it aside, focus on study like what you and Ken have said  .

Thank you:). I will try to be more careful when I speak. Without the intention or realizing it, I might have hurt some people or friends that i care. This is especially true with regards to my ex-bf. I think I have put too much pressure on him as I described above. I'll be happy just to have his heart and be able to talk again like we used to, but now not even commitment, the person is also gone and taken.

It's actually not easy to talk to people...a lot of times, I feel the need to be more straightforward, but the result is not always good in some cases. I guess I have to understand the situation and the person better prior speaking.

Zheng Yin is very close with something like love, responsible and peaceful. Your spiritual life also may grow up at this period.

Thank you again for your thoughtful analysis. Family, especially mother and grandparents have played a great role in my life. They have always been very supportive of me and my study.

What happened must be a lesson, albeit a though one. It's just I never wanted and expected this event to have such a big impact...But, I believe in karma. It's true that we may need to face unpleasant things because of it. Things happen in a cycle and there will be time to pay for it, good or bad. So, nothing is unfair.

I wish I could control my subconscious mind  :'(. Even in the dream, everything was so real, and I was very well aware of losing him. I should be strong and focus on the things I can still improve. Hopefully, my spiritual life can also grow from this. I deeply appreciate your help  =).
