Dear`Master Ken & All,

Name change has been practised in Chinese culture for a very long time as I understand it. Can you please explain how the results for the person come about. Is it a psychological benefit which flows to the mind, then attitude  then action/ behaviour.

So eg a person has missing water element in their Bazi would a name change Specialist usually recommend 'adding water to the person name. If this is the case then one should not be concerned about missing elements in one Bazi chart as it can be addressed balanced through name change. I do not mean disrepectful to this practise but like to understand how the process works / outcome comes about.

Thank you kindly,

Hi pearl,

There's an element of psychological effect to it which you rightly mention.  The other aspect would come in the form of the unseen frequencies that are embedded in the name that when people call or writes your name, the frequency is activated and to your benefit.

For your second question, your concept is logical but yet it fails to consider the assimilation or integration of 2 differing systems.  Can you unplug the spark plugs in a BMW to put it into a Mercedes Benz?  Obviously the name analysis and Bazi are not the same system.  So it is not so direct to say you use a water name it can enhance perfectly the lack of water in your bazi.

The other wrong assumption is to assume both Bazi and name are equally important to a person.  A bad bazi may contribute -90 points to our luck while a good name may only add 10 points to our luck.  The nett result is still bad luck.
